The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase in February 2026 may not have brought insight into what first party games are arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2, but it did give us a great look at what third party games are coming to the console in 2026. (Hopefully we’ll get a look at the upcoming Nintendo titles for this year soon. The end of the tax year is approaching…)
Whether you missed the Nintendo Direct or simply want to revisit the announcements, you’ll find all of the showcased games down below.
Orbitals
We started off this Nintendo Direct with… an anime? Well it’s actually Orbitals — a co-op sci-fi adventure where you’ll work with a friend using various tools, like the Liquid Launcher, to explore different areas. There’s even cute little pets you can cuddle with during your adventures!
Orbitals will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in Summer 2026.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse
Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse is the sequel to 2023’s Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo. If you’re a horror fan and enjoy visual novels, then I highly recommend giving the original game a try. The ability to switch between the different storylines and character perspectives gives the game a unique feel, while some of the horror scenes can hit quite hard especially when you’re unprepared for them.
In this sequel, you’ll be venturing to a mysterious island to investigate the mermaid’s curse and strange doublegangers. It really was meant to be an normal day pearl diving… As before there’s a range of characters you can play as!
Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse will be released on Nintendo Switch on 19th February.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters
It’s football time with Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters! I don’t know much about football — seriously I’ve only watched one match with Wes and it was fine I guess. I probably would have paid more attention if it was like the football in this game trailer.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters will launch on Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Tokyo Scramble
A cavein has lead to an underground world being discovered beneath Tokyo. This isn’t your fun, mysterious, underworld world though thanks to the Zinos, dinosaur like creatures who really want to eat you. Since you can’t fight the Zinos, you’ll have to use traps and your stealth skills to stay alive. Up to four players can play different aspects of Anne’s adventure at the same time.
Tokyo Scramble will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on 11th February.
Valheim
Valheim is coming to Switch 2! This viking-inspired survial crafting game was a hit when it was originally released and now you can enjoy it on your favourite Nintendo console. Just don’t forget to protect yourself from the cold as you explore the wilderness. Up to 10 players will be able to play online together.
Valheim will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
Hollow Knight: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Last year finally saw the release of Silksong, so this year sees the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Hollow Knight. This enchanced version of the game will allow you to enjoy the Knight’s adventure all over again, with enchanced visuals and improved framerates.
Hollow Knight: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released later today! (It might even be available now!) If you’ve purchased Hollow Knight on the Switch 2 already, then you can download the upgrade pack for free.
eFootball Kick-Off!
Football again, but with far less anime this time. Instead it’s normal football where you can build your own football club and play against other players online.
eFootball Kick-Off! will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 this Summer.
The Adventure of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
Square Enix took the stage next with The Adventure of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. In this RPG, you’ll travel through four different ages and learn about the different tales occuring through each one. As you travel through the ages, the landscape will change to reflect the different eras and you’ll spells which can only be used in specific ages.
The Adventure of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 18th June.
Super Bomberman Collection
Want to blow something up? Or avoid being blown up? Then the Super Bomberman Collection is for. This collection brings together a number of classic Super Bomberman titles for you to enjoy. It even includes titles that were previously unreleased worldwide. There’s also a new boss rush mode for you to enjoy!
Super Bomberman Collection will be released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 later today! If you fancy a physical edition, then you’ll have to wait until August.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second installment in the three-part Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy. (Why is it taking three games to remake one title? Let’s not ask Square Enix.) It continues the adventure of Cloud and company as they fight against the Shinra Electric Power Company. Though they’re trying to save the world, not simply lower their electricity bill.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 3rd June.
Pragmata
Pragmata is a new science-fiction adventure where you’ll have to complete an adventure against an evil AI alongside a helpful android. Rather than simply just smashing enemy robots though, you’ll have to hack them first! How you hack a robot will decide the effects of your attack and could even win you a battle.
Pragmata will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 24th April and a demo will be available later today.
Turok: Origins
Turok mixes sci-fi with dinosaurs! Well space dinosaurs… Anyways, you’ll be able to fight them as part of a team in Turok: Origins. Use a variety of attacks to defeat enemies, while also gathering resources so you can upgrade your weapons and skills. Maybe you’ll even be able to save humanity along the way.
Turok: Origins will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in Autumn 2026.
Kyoto Xanadu
We’re heading to Japan in Kyoto Xanadu. Here a world filled with dangerous monsters is trying to invade Kyoto and it’s up to you to explore the maze of Xanadu — thought to be the home of the monsters. The game will switch between monster battles and normal life where you hang out with your friends.
Kyoto Xanadu will be released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in Summer 2026.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
Next up it was time to take a look at some true digital monsters with Digimon Story Time Stranger! As you travel to the past, there’s over 450 different Digimon to collect as you travel through both the human and Digi World. The Switch 2 verison offers two different graphic modes — quality and performance — allowing you to pick which one you prefer.
Digimon Story Time Stranger will be released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on 10th July.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Endless Ragnarok
In this fantasy epic, you’ll able to pick from over 20 characters to build your team and each one has their own unique fighting style. Though you’ll also be able to summon mighty creatures to fight alongside you.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Endless Ragnarok will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 9th July.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Love Monster Hunter? Well this will help you get your hunting fix! This time monsters are on the edge of extinction and it’s up to the riders to find a way to save the world.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 13th March. A demo will be available later today and you’ll be able to transfer your saved data to the full game.
Arcade Archives 2 New Titles and Console Archives
Rave Racer will be added to Arcade Archives 2 on 26th February, giving you the chance to take a look at this racing classic.
We also got a look at the upcoming Console Archives! This collection will contain Doraemon, Sonic Wings Special and more as the titles are gradually released. The first wave of games will include Cool Boarders and Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, which will be available later today.
Scott Pilgrim EX
Scott Pilgrim EX began the sizzle montage. Inspired by the beloved comic series, this fighter game will be released on 3rd March.
Another Eden Begins
Next up was Another Eden Begins! This fantasy adventure will have its Nintendo Switch Edition 2 released during the Summer.
Reanimal
Reanimal is the latest horror title from the original creators of Little Nightmares. It will be arriving on Nintendo consoles on 13th February.
WWE 2K26
Take to the ring in WWE 2K26 as your favourite wrestler and hopefully get the chance to smash someone with a chair! (Always my favourite part of the WWE games on PS1.) WWE 2K26 will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 13th March.
Star Trek: Voyager — Across the Unknown
Have your captain log at the ready and take control of the USS Enterprise in this Star Trek management game. Star Trek: Voyager — Across the Unknown will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 18th February.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Disney Dreamlight Valley is, if you can’t tell already, a Disney-themed life sim where you become friends with various Disney character. (Just don’t look Mickey directly in the eyes. He will steal your soul.) Disney Dreamlight Valley: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released on 25th March.
PGA Tour 2K25
It’s time to polish your golf club and hit the green. PGA Tour 2K25 will let you live your golf champion dreams soon. (I hope a golf tourament winner is called a champion.) PGA Tour 2K25 will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 6th February.
Culdcept BEGINS: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Looking for a new card game to steal all of your time? Well look no further than Culdcept BEGINS, which will soon have its own Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Culdcept BEGINS: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released on 16th July.
Goat Simulator 3
What can be said about Goat Simulator 3? There’s more goats and their still up to complete choas. If you want to embody your inner goat, then you’ll have to wait until 1st April for Goat Simulator 3 to be released on Nintendo Switch 2. A very fitting release day if you ask me.
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
If you fancy some tactical action set in feudal era Japan, then this game might be for you. Just be prepared for a lot of stealth. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 18th March.
Tales of ARISE — Beyond the Dawn Edition
If you’re a fan of epic fantasy wrapped in an anime coat, then Tales of ARISE — Beyond the Dawn Edition may be just what you’re looking for. Tales of ARISE — Beyond the Dawn Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 22nd May.
Resident Evil Requiem
Mysterious deaths in the Resident Evil universe are never a good sign, because what it’s usually pointing to are zombies. This title is divided between two characters — Grace, who will have to use stealth to survive, and Leon who, of course, has brought his gun. He also has a chainsaw. Beautiful. You’ll be able to switch between first and third camera perspective, with each character having their own camera setting.
Resident Evil Requiem will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on 27th February. Resident Evil Biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village will be released on the same day. A Resident Evil Requiem themed Switch 2 Pro Controller will also be released on this day.
The Resident Evil fun doesn’t stop there, later this Summer will see the release of two Amiibo figures for Grace and Leon. Scanning them will unlock some special weapon skins.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition
A leak gave the game away on this one, but yes — Fallout 4 is coming to Switch 2. Soon you’ll be able to journey across the wasteland, battling Deathclaws and Feral Ghouls, as you either become a hero or the latest threat in the Commonwealth. Perfect for anyone looking for some more Fallout fun after the second series of the TV show concluded this week.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be released on 24th February for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Indy can defeat everything but video game leaks apparently as his arrival onto the Switch 2 was leaked before the Direct started. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (I’ll stand by that being a silly name for a game) was Eurogamer’s Game of The Year in 2024, whipping the title away from other games despite its December release.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on 12th May for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion Remastered
A classic fantasy RPG will soon be arriving on Nintendo Switch 2! Create your perfect chaarcter before venturing out into the wilderness to close the gates of Oblivion. Once you’ve finished every side quest and joined all of the Guilds first too! This verison also the Oblivion expansion packs, so you properly ignore the main quest.
The Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion Remastered will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 later in 2026.
